The Colorado Child Welfare Training System is committed to maintaining and promoting excellence in all of our coaching services.

The Kempe Center coaches have all completed professional coaches training through an International Coach Federation (ICF) accredited training program and work in alignment with the ICF Code of Ethics. Each coach also has extensive experience in child welfare practice and experience as leaders within child welfare. The combination of these credentials allows the Kempe Center coaches to employ a person-centered approach to coaching leaders and teams.

By partnering with a coach, leaders and their teams will be held compassionately accountable for being their best selves so that they will feel compelled to do the same with the staff and families they serve.

After completing your leadership coaching application, the Kempe Center’s coaching manager will review your request. Your needs and interests will be compared with the strengths and skills of the Kempe Center coaches to partner you with the coach who is best and most uniquely suited for you or your team.

Testimonials

  • “When I began coaching, I was feeling unsure, tormented, stressed, and distracted at work. My coach’s presence and engagement with me provided an environment in which I could feel, reflect, and work through my inner barriers to tap into my own wisdom. At the end of our work I had an increased ability and tools to deal with stress and conflict, I feel confident, have better boundaries with others, and am better able to use my energy in productive ways. I highly recommend leadership coaching to anyone!”
